‘Their live performances are nothing short of mesmerising’ – Billboard

With their new studio album LOVED out today, indie-pop favourites Parcels have revealed the special guests set to join them on their biggest Australian headline tour this summer.

Famous for their dazzling live shows and kaleidoscopic sound, the Berlin-based, Byron Bay-formed five-piece have become global favourites, selling out headline shows worldwide and performing everywhere from Coachella to Glastonbury all while continuing to push the boundaries of modern pop. Their return to Australia is one of this summer’s most hotly anticipated tours and the line-up just got bigger!

ARIA Award-winners Mildlife will join Parcels at Brisbane’s Riverstage, bringing their intoxicating blend of jazz, krautrock and cosmic groove to the lineup. Ever since their 2018 debut album Phase, Mildlife have gone from underground sensations to one of Australia’s most acclaimed exports, earning international champions along the way such as influential DJ and producer Gilles Peterson. The band’s sophomore record, Automatic, hit #8 on the ARIA charts, while their latest offering Chorus (2024) is a joyous dive into psychedelic, Italo disco, Polish jazz and contemporary electronics. Endlessly danceable, live on stage Mildlife are exhilarating as fans across five continents can attest, the band having toured endlessly for the last four years.

Meanwhile in Melbourne, fans will be treated to incredible NT band King Stingray, who recently announced their highly anticipated second album, For the Dreams, out Friday 8 November. The band’s revelatory self-titled 2022 debut earned them five ARIA nominations, the Australian Music Prize, and Album of the Year at the AIR Awards. Currently wowing fans in the USA, their do-it-yourself ethos and connection to home and family mixes raucous rock’n’roll and the ancient Indigenous tradition of Manikay (song/songlines). Live on stage, they create magical singalong moments, nostalgia-tinged anthems, and a joyous celebration of life, home, and Country.

Opening the night at the Bowl will be Velvet Trip, the psychedelic project of Wiradjuri man Zeppelin Hamilton. With their mind-bending fusion of psych-rock and indie-pop, Velvet Trip have supported Ocean Alley and lit up festivals such as Bluesfest, Yours & Owls and Lost Paradise. Their ARIA-charting debut Harmony Blooms landed them high rotation on triple j, and 2024’s singles ‘It Don’t Matter’ and ‘Calling Out Your Name’ have seen them cement their place as one of the country’s most forward-thinking new bands.

Ushering in summer with Parcels and friends on their biggest Australian tour yet.
