It is important that you follow the instructions in your Fan Experience communication; failure to do so may lead to you forfeiting elements of your Experience.

How do I get to ICC Sydney Theatre?

ICC Sydney Theatre is accessible by public transport (train, bus, lightrail and ferry), car, foot and bicycle.

On busy event days, the venue always recommends catching public transport where possible, and checking the Transport NSW website for live updates on road work, delays and changes to transport timetables.

If you’re arriving by car, Zollner Circuit is the closest drop-off point for ICC Sydney Theatre and is accessed via Darling Drive.

To plan your journey, head to ICC Sydney Theatre’s Getting Here page.

Can I dress up?

Critical Role STRONGLY encourage cosplay and dressing up. They want to see your outfits and thrive off your creativity and enthusiasm – and most importantly, they want you to have the time of your lives!

However, there are some rules that we need you to follow to ensure smooth access to the venue and to preserve the enjoyment of your fellow Critters:

  • We’d love you to dress like Jester, but please be mindful of any body paint, ensure it is properly set and sealed prior to entering the venue.
  • The following costume elements will not be allowed into the venue:
    • Knives, weapons, scissors, and chains: Unfortunately, we need to leave Beau's staff at home! If you're creating an imitation knife, sword, staff, or other weapon for photos, please be prepared to cloak these free of charge at the venue. This includes giant lollipops, unfortunately!
    • Fireworks or flares: While we love our Firetamers, please leave the live flames at home.
    • Musical instruments, including horns, trumpets, sirens, or other noise making devices: Sorry, Scanlan Shorthalt, you should leave your lute at home.
    • Motorbike helmets or any face coverings deemed inappropriate by the Manager: This includes facial FX prosthetics such as fake noses. Horns and elf ears are fine and will be allowed into the venue, provided they will not impact the experience of the Critters sitting either side of you, or behind you.

What else can I bring to the show?

Please refer to ICC Sydney Theatre’s Conditions of Entry for their full list of prohibited items, but please take note of the following:

  • Backpacks of any kind are not allowed: Other bags must be 30cm x 30cm or smaller.
  • External/commercial food and drink: Patrons are permitted to enter with a limit of one (1) sealed 600mL PET bottle of water, per person - medical conditions requiring specific food and non-alcoholic beverages are allowed, once inspected by security.
  • Cans, bottles (including glass or metal) and containers: This includes the jugs for your Sandkheg's Hide, sorry!

What merch will be available?

There’ll be a nice selection of brand new, original live show merchandise, as well as some of your longstanding favourites. The external outlet will open from 12pm on the day of the show.

Will these shows be filmed?

These shows will be recorded for broadcast, so there’s a few housekeeping rules we’d love your help with!

  • You are welcome to take still pictures without flash, but no recording is allowed.
  • Please be courteous to your fellow Critters and avoid posting spoilers during the show.
  • We love to hear your excitement and cheers, but please refrain from yelling suggestions or game rules during the show.

You can view the Notice of Filming and Photography for the performances here.
