Hatchie

Hatchie

Hatchie is Brisbane's Hariette Pilbeam. Since its release in May, debut single "Try" has made waves; it has been championed by triple j, featured on NPR and included on Spotify's Viral Chart, Top 40s and Best Of playlists. The single marks the first of what is sure to be many riveting releases."Hatchie's first single, is a shimmering shoegaze debut. The song is hazy and misty, but with pop-rooted forward momentum; the glistening guitars and synthesizers, along with Pilbeam's ethereal vocal delivery" – Marissa Lorusso – NPR

ANNOUNCE HOMECOMING SHOWS FOR MELBOURNE & SYDNEY IN NOVEMBER

WITH SPECIAL GUEST HATCHIE

Frontier Touring are pleased to confirm The Temper Trap will return to Australian soil to play Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Wednesday 22 November and Melbourne’s The Croxton Bandroom on Thursday 23 November. These shows will mark the band’s first time back in Australia since their co-headline tour with Garbage last year in November and December and their sell out headline tour last May.

The homecoming tour will showcase The Temper Trap’s back catalogue which will include fan favourites from all three of their album including ‘Thick As Thieves’, ‘Sweet Disposition’ and ‘Need Your Love’ with an exciting peppering of a couple of new tracks that the band have been working on – and we’re told we can expect to hear in the very near future!

“We’re pumped to be coming back to Australia to play a couple of shows this Spring. We always love coming home and we can’t wait to see our fans again! We’re looking forward to Australia hearing some new sounds from us as well,” says Dougy Mandagi.

Since the success of The Temper Trap’s latest album Thick As Thieves, which debuted at #1 on the ARIA Album Chart and became their second album to take out the illustrious top spot, the band have been headlining major festivals interspersed between sell out shows all over the world.

July saw The Temper Trap repress their debut album Conditions on limited edition splatter vinyl. It is available now via JB HiFi here.

With their last Australian headline tour a total sell out, fans are urged to get in quick to avoid disappointment.

“These songs are meant for big audiences, for big moments, for the festival crowds that will scream the lyrics back at them. This is rock at its most blinding.” – FasterLouder

“It is an album of ridiculously good choruses, stellar vocals and a couple cheeky guitar solos thrown in for goodwill.” – The AU Review

“The strength of Mandagi's voice did not cease to amaze, with his hair-raising falsetto cutting through…” – Sydney Morning Herald

“...this is everything The Temper Trap do very well indeed.” – News.com.au
