FRONTIER COMEDY bringing world class laughs to the Sydney Comedy Festival!

24 Jan 2017

’BACK IN BUSINESS’

After sell-out seasons with his debut festival show I’ve Done Some Bad Things at the 2016 Melbourne International Comedy Festival & Sydney Comedy Festival - comedian, actor, writer and host Ash Williams (Studio 10,The Project, Dirty Laundry LIVE, KIIS FM, Nova FM, Triple M) is Back In Business!

‘It’s good to be back in business’ - Ash Williams

‘Ash is definitely not back in business’ - Ash’s accountant (who is also a cat)

When Ash notoriously moved to Los Angeles to pursue his comedy and acting career, he kept up his radio and TV duties back home, with appearances on Peter Helliar’s It's A Date, Adam Hills’ In Gordon Street Tonight, segments on The Morning Show and Studio 10, and regular guest spots on comedy podcasts TOFOP with Wil Anderson and I Love Green Guide Letters. In 2015, upon his return to Australia Ash created a live talk show #ASHWILLIAMSLIVE which developed a cult following on Instagram, with guests including Hamish Blake, Julia Stone, Dave Hughes & The Bachelorette Sam Frost.

Contrary to his crazy (and all 100% true!) tales of LA life, Ash was actually quite successful over there too, landing roles on TV and regular spots at the world famous Comedy Store in L.A. But Ash isn’t here to tell you about the wins…

‘The stories are utterly ridiculous but time and again he whips out photos, songs and even a voicemail message to show us that yes, one man can get in this much trouble.’ - The Music

‘Go and see Ash Williams, you won’t forget it’ - Dave Hughes

The past year has been big for Ash: he moved out of his Mum’s house, he paid his younger brother back (with real money), and he is even answering private phone numbers again. Enjoy more true and wild stories from this modern day businessman who is doing more back alley deals than ever.
