SUPERCRY 13-DATE NATIONAL TOUR ANNOUNCED FOR SPRING 2016

Frontier Touring are delighted to confirm that singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Emma Louise will be embarking on a massive headline tour throughout October and November, touring in celebration of her forthcoming sophomore album Supercry (out 15 July 2016 via Liberation Music, pre-order here).

‘Emma Louise doesn’t go lightly…. a muted, creamy texture and copious alluring detail.’ – Stack (Album of the Month)

A true artist in every sense of the word, Emma’s music is closely entwined with her being. From songwriting, to painting her own cover art, to designing her own costumes and driving concepts for her videos, Emma has a hand in everything to do with her art.

Supercry is the follow up to Emma’s critically acclaimed debut vs Head vs Heart, and was recorded in a castle in Provence, France with renowned producer Pascal Gabriel (Goldfrapp, Ladyhawke). Ahead of its release on Friday, triple j will be featuring Supercry as their feature album all this week.

Anticipation for the album is at fever pitch, with all three singles released thus far - ‘Underflow’, ‘Talk Baby Talk’, and ‘West End Kids’ – already commanding community radio airwaves and picking up high rotation adds on triple j. ‘Underflow’ alone has been streamed over 1.5 million times worldwide on Spotify, while ‘Talk Baby Talk’ has also notched a whopping 1.2 million streams.

‘…a delicate, silky piece of ambient pop that soars as it goes along... There’s a very solid structuring to the track, and it’s as crisp throughout as it is gentle—a rare feat indeed.’ - Hilly Dilly

‘The infectious melody and Louise’s poignant honeyed vocals are brought to life against a backdrop of desperation.’ - Speaker TV

‘Dark and smoky, a palpable atmosphere built up throughout and giving way to a wonderfully layered climax with the deliberate backbeat, the rousing production...’ - Howl & Echoes

To celebrate Supercry’s release, mushroom.com filmed a series of live performances at Brisbane’s The Old Museum, a former retreat for Emma. Watch the first installment ‘West End Kids’ here.

No stranger to the live stage, Emma joined Sam Smith as special guest on his run of sold-out arena shows last summer, picking up a bevy of new fans along the way. Emma also featured the festival circuit this year, touring the country on the Groovin The Moo line up and will appear at Splendour In The Grass later this month before embarking on her own headline tour.

Supercry is set to see Emma bound for greatness; don’t miss the album release celebrations as she tours the country this spring.
