The band will kick off the tour with a show at ICF: Outdoor, Perth on Tuesday 27 October before heading to Melbourne’s John Cain Arena on Wednesday 18 November and Sydney’s TikTok Entertainment Centre on Friday 20 November, with a final show at Riverstage, Brisbane on Sunday 22 November.

Watch: LANY - soft
Fresh off the back of their latest release Soft, the album marks a defining moment in the band’s personal and professional lives. Writing the album just weeks after a serious accident that saw Paul wake up in an ambulance, the project solidifies a sonic identity that is simultaneously incredibly fresh and peculiarly familiar (another dichotomy that defines the record). Its subsequent deluxe edition Soft 2 - released just last week - serves as the project’s “Part 2”, showcasing the contrast of hard and soft with tangible, literal, physical hardness, juxtaposed with metaphorical, relational (and, at times too, physical) softness.
“Soft, an album that breathes new perspective and tenderness into life — the kind of clarity that only comes from almost losing everything.” - Melodic Magazine
“If the album cover, a zoomed-in shot on a small lamb in presumably frontman Paul Klein’s arms, is any indication: This album is precious. Like the title track and opener say, it is soft. It’s delicate.” - SLUG Magazine
The band's fifth studio album a beautiful blur (2023), was their first independent release and debuted at #2 on Billboard’s Current Rock Albums chart, as well as #3 on their Current Alternative Albums chart. It also landed them a TOP 5 Album in Australia, debuting at #4 on the ARIA chart. Standout single ‘XXL’ exploded on social media and earned performances from the band on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the TODAY Show, before reaching #21 on the US Billboard Pop Chart and #1 on the Independent Chart.
Performing across the globe in 2025, including two special nights with The National Symphony Orchestra at The Kennedy Center in DC and headlining Seoul Jazz Festival in May, LANY then rounded out the year announcing their soft world tour. Previously nominated for ‘Best Pop Tour’ by Pollstar, the band’s energetic, entrancing, and ever-evolving live show continues to captivate fans on multiple continents – and the soft world tour is no exception. The band’s most impressive live show yet, selling 300,000+ tickets has already seen them perform in Dubai, Mumbai, Santiago and Buenos Aires, with North America, Europe and Asia still to come across 2026. The tour will see LANY headline first-time venues including the Intuit Dome locally in LA, Barclays Center in Brooklyn and OVO Wembley Arena in London, alongside a return to the largest indoor arena in the world in Manila.
With four gold singles— ‘Malibu Nights’, ‘Super Far’, ‘I Quit Drinking’ [with Kelsea Ballerini], and ‘Mean It’ [with Lauv]—in addition to scoring platinum status with ‘ILYSB’, LANY have quietly cracked the mainstream on their own terms as one of the most ubiquitous, unpredictable, and undeniable alternative rock bands of this era.
Don’t miss the anticipated return of alt-rock duo LANY as the soft world tour lands in Australia this October-November.
