EMMA MALIK brings 'If You Can't Train It, Eat It' to Melbourne International Comedy Festival

05 Jan 2018

ABOUT: 'If You Can't Train It, Eat It' arrow

Performing at: Melbourne International Comedy Festival

Walking tigers and trying to prevent a dwarf horse from having an erection is the norm for Emma Malik, a British born animal trainer turned comedian. Emma, some of her animal friends and a champagne flute full of unbelievable stories sold out her 2017 Sydney Comedy Festival  season and a an encore show that was added to meet demand- don’t miss her Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut!

Emma has been training animals professionally for over a decade. That is until a drunken dare lead her to try stand-up comedy, a "one off" gig which turned into a career. Since then Emma has been busy travelling the world delivering her unique stand-up.

Emma made her on screen debut on Thailand’s Got Talent – a true story which we’re not going to spoil for you here. She went on to play the female lead for a well-known condom brand and has appeared on Nickelodeon, the Darren Sanders Show, Farmer Needs a Wife - and even managed to land the role of the "before" for a diet shake commercial. Her solo show If You Can't Train It, Eat It introduced Sydney audiences to her quick wit, audience interactions, high energy… and of course her many-legged co-stars.

‘English rose’ Emma will open her charming, yet oh so dirty mouth and tell you things that David Attenborough never would. No animals were harmed in the making of this hilarious show.

"she'll charm, twist and surprise laugh you... roar-ing fun(ny)" Chuck Moore Reviews
