Fiction Plane are making their maiden voyage Down Under in support of The Police, and it’s with great pleasure The Frontier Touring Company confirms the addition of two headline shows to Fiction Plane’s tour.

Since their inception in 2000, Fiction Plane have developed a strong following which was fuelled by the release of their debut album Everything Will Never Be Ok.

They will tour Australia in support of their second album Left Side of the Brain. Produced by Paul Corkett (Radiohead, Tori Amos), Left Side of the Brain has drawn critical acclaim. The Cincinnati Post mused: “It has a power pop sound reminiscent of U2, but lyrically is closer to the dark grunge mood of Smashing Pumpkins and Nirvana.”

A live show by Fiction Plane is an experience in itself. Alongside performances on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel Live, Fiction Plane have supported The Police across Europe and North America on their reunion tour to the delight of fans.

Of a recent live show, the Los Angeles Times wrote: “Fiction Plane's Britpop-infused indie rock packed plenty of punch, thanks to the work of guitarist Seton Daunt and drummer Pete Wilhoit, and Sumner's icy intensity and pinched vocals suggested that he has not fallen far from the family tree.”

Do not miss your chance to see one of music’s most promising bands in these intimate live setting this January!

Tickets on sale Wednesday 19 December.
