hellogoodbye like to be happy. hellogoodbye like their fans to be happy – and happy is what Australian fans will be as hellogoodbye return Down Under in July to play all ages shows in Brisbane and Sydney, in addition to both an over 18 and under 18 show in Melbourne.

When Forrest Kline formed hellogoodbye – in his bedroom, as a means of entertaining friends – he had no idea that only a few short years later they would become one of the most promising young bands in the world. Underground success came fast for hellogoodbye as their unique brand of power-pop drew crowds of hundreds in their Californian hometown before they'd even organised an official album release.

Signing to the infamous Drive-Thru Records in 2004, the successes kept piling up. Their self-titled EP propelled them onto the Vans Warped Tour, MTV's The Real World: Austin and they even won MTV2's Dew Circuit Breakout in 2005.

Releasing their debut album Zombies! Aliens! Vampires! Dinosaurs! (Drive-Thru/ Shock) in 2006 saw hellogoodbye take an even greater step towards world domination, with the album debuting at #13 on the US Billboard chart. More recently their hit single “Here (In Your Arms)” peaked at #14 on the Billboard Hot 100, proving that hellogoodbye are here to stay.

hellogoodbye's first Australian tour, as support for The All-American Rejects, saw them cement a die-hard fan base Down Under as they thrilled crowds with their power-pop brilliance. “The crowd poured adulation as they left the stage, pleading for an encore. But it didn't come, and hellogoodbye leave Melbourne and their fans the way all bands should: wanting more.” – Beat Magazine

There's no doubt that hellogoodbye's fanbase has multiplied significantly since their debut tour, which also means there's no doubt that when they return this July these shows will sell out. With infectious melodies, and the ethos that you should expect the unexpected, this tour is not to be missed.

Pre-sale tickets will be available to Frontier Members from noon AEST Thursday 3 May to noon AEST Friday 4 May (or until the pre-sale allocation is exhausted).

General public on-sale commences at 9am local time on Monday 7 May.
