THE FEELING

ON THEIR FIRST EVER AUSTRALIAN TOUR

August 2006

This August, The Frontier Touring Company will give Australia the scoop on one of the hottest new bands currently setting the UK music scene on fire. The band is The Feeling – a dishy five piece whose smart pop music houses plenty of catchy hooks and killer choruses, a fact which the band themselves are not afraid to admit to.

“You can get away with murder in pop music,” says lead-singer Dan. “We like getting away with murder. We like great big choruses and great big hooks.”

As do the public… The Feeling’s debut album Twelve Stops And Home caused quite a stir in the UK. The album yielded two Top 10 hits – ‘Fill My Little World’ and ‘Sewn’ – the latter of which has become one of the biggest radio hits of the year so far. In Australia, the album will be released on July 15 through Universal Music.

But what of this ‘scoop’ you say? Well, Frontier is bringing The Feeling down-under for the very first time to introduce Australians to the band. They will perform one show only at The Gaelic Theatre in Sydney on Monday 7 August and at The Prince of Wales in Melbourne on Tuesday 8 August.

Live, The Feeling are well worth seeing. Recent performances in the UK have critics singing their praises.

“The Feeling were professional, talented and belted out an impressively catchy set.” Leeds Music Scene, May 2006

“The Feeling gave a fantastic performance at Manchester… and from the reaction they got it seemed like the audience loved every second of it.”

Manchester Music Scene, June 2006

Those buying tickets to the shows will also be entitled to an exclusive download from the forthcoming album.

This is your opportunity to get a taste of The Feeling before everyone else. Make sure you snap up your tickets quickly when they go on sale on FRIDAY 30 JUNE.
