"Carrabba appeared blissfully overwhelmed by the choir-like singing that characterised the entire set. It's not a myth: whether they are in Florida or Melbourne, Dashboard fans faithfully sing along to every word of every song."

DASHBOARD CONFESSIONAL
RETURN TOUR JULY 2004
Australian audiences obviously made quite an impression on Chris Carrabba and Dashboard Confessional in February because the band are heading back to our shores – just five months after their last visit!
A tight touring schedule means Sydney and Melbourne audiences will score just one opportunity each to catch Dashboard Confessional live. And considering the sell out success of the last tour, expectations are that the new shows will sell quickly.
And while it may have only been a few months since their last visit, Dashboard Confessional haven't been resting on their laurels, releasing a new version of A Mark, A Mission, A Brand, A Scar with a bonus DVD of their MTV2/REM Album Covers session (released in Australia in June through FMR) plus the band have also been busy recording a brand new single Vindicated for the new Spiderman 2 soundtrack (single in stores July).
To date the band's success has derived largely from underground, with their loyal fan base expanding through word of mouth and internet devotees. Vindicated looks set to launch Dashboard Confessional to a whole new level though with the new single the number one most added in its first week of release to American radio.
Seeing Dashboard Confessional perform live is an experience that any lover of music should have. Originally devised as a solo project, Dashboard Confessional is today a tight knit band comprised of Chris Carrabba, Mike Marsh (drums), Johnny Leffler (guitar), and Scott Schoenbeck (bass). Their previous shows left Australian audiences begging for more and it's obviously a plea that the band listened to closely.Don't miss out!
