P.O.D - Australia & New Zealand Tour
TOUR DATES & TICKETINGarrow
P.O.D. are coming to Australia for the first time this February. Having exploded into the stratosphere with their finest work to date "Satellite", a high decibel blast of potent cross-cultural rock, P.O.D. formed in San Diego, 1992 and consist of Sonny - Lead Vocals; Marcos - Guitars, Vocals; Traa - Bass, Vocals; Wuv - Drums, Vocals. Satellite, their second Atlantic Records release, is challenging, joyful and very strong.
Recorded in Los Angeles in Spring 2001, Satellite was produced by Howard Benson with long-time Metallica engineer Randy Staub. As Marcos says "All the great rock bands are always driven by passion and emotion. We always put all of our love and everything that we have into our music." "Alive" the first single from "SATELLITE" has been praised for its powerful and uplifting lyrics, has been nominated for a Grammy Award for "Best Hard Rock Performance" and is receiving high rotational airplay on Australian radio being one of the most requested tracks of recent weeks. In the tradition of Korn and Limp Bizkit, P.O.D. bring their own aggressive and theatrical rock show to Melbourne for one night only at The Corner Hotel on Wednesday 20 February.
"P.O.D. push all the right buttons." - US Rolling Stone
Melbourne band Another Race will be special guests on the P.O.D. tour. Another Race are currently flying high with JJJ & Rage airplay for their new single, "Jumpin". Which is just a taster for their much anticipated 2002 debut album release.
