The Lumineers: Newcastle headline show added + announcing special guests The Head and The Heart

Fresh from wrapping their massive North American leg with a triumphant finale in Mexico City, 2x GRAMMY® nominees The Lumineers are making their AUTOMATIC World Tour even bigger – today announcing a brand-new headline show at Newcastle Entertainment Centre on Thursday 15 January, as part of their upcoming Australia and New Zealand run, their first live shows down under since 2022.
Tickets for the just-announced Newcastle show will go on sale Thursday 30 October (2pm local time) via frontiertouring.com/thelumineers. Fans can gain early access via the Frontier Members presale, which starts Wednesday 29 October (1pm local time).
Also announced today, joining The Lumineers at all AU shows is US indie six-piece The Head and the Heart. The Platinum-selling outfit are heading down under off the back of their sixth album Aperture – “their best album in years”, claimed Rolling Stone – released in May via label Verve Forecast. Having played stadium dates with The Lumineers this year, they recently also announced they’ll join Brandi Carlile on the road for her upcoming February US tour. Famous for their trademark harmonies heard on hits such as ‘Honeybee’ and ‘All We Ever Knew’, now the band return with an affirming new release, their most vital and poignant album to date.
