Hot off the heels of being announced as the coveted headliner for Ridin’ Hearts Festival, Frontier Touring is excited to announce multi-platinum sensation Megan Moroney will perform an exclusive headline show in Brisbane as part of her highly anticipated return to Australia.

As the beloved ‘Emo Cowgirl’ prepares to take the stage at Ridin’ Hearts 2025, the critically adored singer-songwriter will make a special on-night-only stop at Riverstage, Brisbane on Thursday 23 October.

Frontier Member and Heartbreakers presales kick off from 11am local time on Thursday 19 June before tickets go on sale from 12pm local time on Friday 20 June. Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/meganmoroney.

Returning to Australia after her standout performance at the 2024 edition of CMC Rocks QLD, Moroney is an in-demand headliner, commanding stages across the globe. Currently on her AM I OKAY? TOUR, a massive 50-date run across North America, Moroney has ascended to a truly stratospheric level of stardom in just a few short years.

Arriving on the scene with her debut album Lucky in 2023, it was 3X platinum, No.1 hit “Tennessee Orange”, that catapulted Moroney into the spotlight. Since then, the Georgia-bred phenomenon has firmly cemented her status as a powerhouse in Country music, earning widespread acclaim from fans and critics alike.

“The Gen Z Country Queen We Need” - Rolling Stone (Future of Music Cover)

“Like all great country music, her songs reveal deeper and universal truths in life's smallest and messiest moments.” - NPR

“Moroney’s songs are full of artful and sometimes acidic depictions of heartache.” - The New Yorker

“She blends classic country wordplay and twang with the language and details (and anxiety) of a young woman in the 2020s.” - Esquire

2024 was a milestone year for Moroney. Her sophomore album, AM I OKAY? (Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records) debuted at No.9 on the Billboard 200 chart and the accolades quickly followed, including Billboard Women in Music’s Rulebreaker Award, New Artist of the Year at the CMA Awards, and New Female Artist of the Year at the Academy of Country Music awards. She spent the latter half of the year on the road with Kenny Chesney for his stadium-sized SUN GOES DOWN TOUR, which led to their buzzy collaboration “You Had To Be There.”

Now in 2025, Moroney is more than okay. Gracing the April cover of Rolling Stone US as their ‘Future Of Music,’ she’s playing the biggest shows of her career yet and proving herself as a must-see live act.

Joining Moroney for this special headline show is fellow Ridin’ Hearts 2025 artist and CMC Rocks alumni, Avery Anna. Bursting onto the scene in 2022 with platinum hit ‘Narcissist’, the Arizona-born singer/songwriter has been “racing through career milestones ever since”. A deeply compassionate songwriter, the 21-year-old recently released extraordinary sophomore album let go letters (out now via Warner Music Nashville). A project curated from fan letters of difficult experiences in an attempt to offer them solace and relief, Anna was praised by Holler Country for her “refreshingly inspired touch”, with Entertainment Focus adding “Avery Anna doesn’t just write back to her fans – she sings their stories back to them with grace, rage, vulnerability and compassion.” Following her incredible Australian debut performance at this year’s CMC Rocks Festival, Anna is now gearing up to make her anticipated return at Ridin’ Hearts 2025 as well as joining Moroney as special guest in Brisbane, performing tracks from let go letters for the first time.

Not even “6 Months Later,” fans can expect signature Moroney when she makes her eagerly awaited return to Australia. You will need to be there for this special one-night-only show at Brisbane’s Riverstage this October, joined by special guest Avery Anna.
