    Frontier Touring are excited to announce, Southern-Californian singer-songwriter and rising star, Claire Rosinkranz will be joined by Sydney based pop duo Cat & Calmell on her Australian debut Sydney headline show as part of the Just Because Tour!

    Rosinkranz with special guest Cat & Calmell will perform a one-off headline show at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory tomorrow, Wednesday 19 July, ahead of her debut appearance at Byron Bay’s Splendour In The Grass on Friday 21 July.

    Cat & Calmell have a rich history of performing together.  Cat spent her childhood in China and moved to Sydney as a young teenager.  Calmell was born and raised in Western Sydney.  Stars aligned when the two met at an after-school program for developing artists.  

    The duo released their debut EP Life Of Mine in 2021 which features the breakout hit ‘dumbshit’ and ‘dramatic’ which appeared on an episode of Netflix series YOU and catapulted them onto the global stage.  In 2022, Cat & Calmell covered Nelly Furtado’s ‘Maneater’ for triple j’s Like A Version and their own hit ‘dramatic’.  With a coveted support slot with Dua Lipa in Melbourne in 2022, 2023 is already shaping up to be something special in the work of Cat & Calmell with the single releases ‘Overstimulated’ and ‘Feel Alive’ from their forthcoming Mini Album How Do You Feel? (via EMI Music Australia on Fri 29 Sep, pre-order here) and a national Australian tour support with Mallrat earlier this year.

    With a reminiscent, electro-pop sound, Claire Rosinkranz had her breakout year in 2020. Releasing her debut EP BeVerly Hills BoYfRiEnd the project made a lasting impression on fans and critics, with single, ‘Backyard Boy’ going viral across the globe. Just Because In 2023, with over 58 million streams in Australia alone, the excitement continues to build around Claire. Releasing singles ‘Sad In Hawaii’, ‘123’, ‘Never Goes Away’ and the brand new ‘Screw Time’ to a fanfare of praise from critics and embarking on a sold-out headline North American tour, she is now gearing up to release her first full-length album, Just Because out soon (via Universal Music Australia, pre-order here). 

    Touring Australia for the first time, Rosinkranz fans will be treated to a taste of new music as well as the forever-memorable ‘Backyard Boy’, in what will be an unmissable debut live Sydney show!
