Carly Rae Jepsen adds second & final Sydney show to March 2023 headline tour

    29 Nov 2022

Grammy, Juno and Polaris Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen announces she will play an anticipated second and final Sydney show on her The So Nice Australian tour this March.

Jepsen’s newly announced Sydney date will take place at the Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 8 March, immediately after her first sold out night at the Enmore on Tuesday 7 March. The headline tour also stops at Brisbane’s The Tivoli followed by two nights at Melbourne’s Forum, plus an appearance at Golden Plains.

Tickets for the new Sydney Enmore Theatre show will go on general public sale at 12 noon AEDT on Thursday 1 December.

Tickets to all previously announced shows are on sale now.

This March, Jepsen visits Australia for the first time since 2019 when she quickly sold out all shows, delivering performances around the country that were described as 'pure, relentless joy’ by Junkee, Sydney Morning Herald writing, ’Jepsen’s pure pop puts fans in a frenzy.’

Her recently released new album The Loneliest Time (Interscope Records/Universal Music Australia) has been hailed as an “aerodynamic collection… slick sounds from a cult pop hero” by NME, with Rolling Stone writing “the latest album from the Canadian pop goddess delivers high-gloss pop with serious emotional punch”.

"There are two types of people: those who think Jepsen began and ended with “Call Me Maybe”, and those who recognise her as a unique mastermind of contemporary pop music and a non-ironic cult icon." – The Saturday Paper

Jepsen’s most introspective body of work to date, The Loneliest Time expands on the emotionally potent song writing and effervescent sound that she has showcased on past work like 2015’s critically lauded and culture-shaping E*MO*TION.

Come and revel in the pure, feel-good joy of Carly Rae Jepsen, when she returns to Australia for five special performances in March 2023.
