Ashnikko (USA) pop disruptor announces SMOOCHIES TOUR Australia & New Zealand September 2026

    16 Sep 2025

MG Live and Frontier Touring are pumped to announce the return of US pop provocateur Ashnikko to Australian and New Zealand shores in September 2026.

The cross-genre hyper-pop bubble-gum artist who opened for Billie Eilish on her Hit Me Hard and Soft 12-date arena tour of Australia to tens of thousands of fans, will kick the SMOOCHIES TOUR off in New Zealand at Auckland Town Hall on Wednesday 16 September. The Australian leg of the tour opens in Sydney at the Enmore Theatre on Saturday 19 September before heading to Melbourne’s Forum on Wednesday 23 September then onto Brisbane’s The Fortitude Music Hall on Friday 25 September, Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall on Sunday 27 September before winding up in Perth at Metro City on Tuesday 29 September.

Frontier Member presale commences Wednesday 17 September (10am local time) before the general on sale Friday 19 September (10am local time). Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/ashnikko

October 17 sees the release of Ashnikko’s second album, Smoochies (via Warner Music Australia, pre-order here); her most personal body of work to date. Following 2023’s debut WEEDKILLER, sonically it expands Ash’s distinct hybrid-pop sound while taking a significantly more autobiographical approach to lyrics. The 15-track album is a rebellious one, made from a place of radical joy at a time when the world has never felt more threatening for femmes and marginalized communities. In response, Ashnikko is taking up space by inhabiting a state of pure play. It’s absurd and grotesque, explicit and tender, sexy without an ounce of desire to perform for the male gaze.

The sophomore album Smoochies features the playfully defiant new single ‘Sticky Fingers’; Ashnikko at her most audacious, blending playful bravado with unapologetic self-assurance and 2025’s ‘Trinkets’ and ‘Itty Bitty’.

‘...leaving punters thoroughly satisfied but ravenous for more of her hyper-pop fantasies!’ - The Live Wire

‘The sold-out venue spoke volumes about the sheer excitement pulsating through her devoted fanbase, all eagerly awaiting the chance to witness Ashnikko’s live performance... Ashnikko’s live show is an energetic delight that we wholeheartedly recommend to music enthusiasts.’ - Strife Mag

‘Well known for high intensity, energetic shows, Ashnikko’s fans – Demidevils – were hyped from the moment they walked into the building. A sea of black – mesh, lace, net, with the occasional blue-haired tribute here or there – this was a crowd that had come kitted out and ready to be consumed by the 75 minute pop-punk onslaught.’ - Backseat Mafia

‘Stimulating, refreshingly direct, and cheeky: In a way, her shows feel like self-care.’ - Melomaniacs
