The Veronicas have taken little time in establishing themselves as one of Australia’s premier music acts, and it is with great pleasure The Frontier Touring Company announces their return to Australian stages this November/December. The Veronicas’ Hook Me Up Tour will be their first Down Under since they thrilled thousands across the country on 2006’s Coke Live arena tour.

Taking to stages in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle, Brisbane and the Gold Coast, this will be The Veronicas largest headlining tour to date – and it promises to be their best. Returning with their much loved and widely praised four piece band that wowed audiences last time, The Veronicas are set to thrill this time around. No strangers to the stage, The Veronicas have played across the United States, Europe and of course Australia, alongside some of music’s finest talent including Blondie, Ashlee Simpson, AFI and Evermore, proving themselves to be superstars of the highest calibre.

Hook Me Up (out now through Warner Music), the debut single from their forthcoming album, has sent The Veronicas flying back into the public spotlight with a bang. Signalling a change for the band, Hook Me Up takes The Veronicas to a new level as they – quite convincingly - take on electro-pop. Steering the girls in a more mature direction, Hook Me Up sets the bar high for the hotly anticipated follow up record to their 2005 ARIA-award winning debut The Secret Life of… (Warner Music). So catchy is Hook Me Up that radio stations across the country scrambled to add the song immediately – securing the girls the #2 most added song to radio spot.

Working with an array of acclaimed producers and writers, including John Feldman and Greg Wells on their new album Hook Me Up, The Veronicas promise to release one of this year’s most spectacular albums, a feat which is set to be mirrored by their Hook Me Up Tour. Undeniably one of Australia’s best, and favourite, live acts, The Veronicas never fail in setting the crowds before them alight.

Of last year’s Revolution Tour, The Age declared: “The pair are a rarity in modern pop…” The Courier Mail were also won over, announcing: “…the duo left their contemporaries for dead with a searing display of sheer talent.” And Inpress were left wondering “how much longer it will be before the rest of the world cottons on to Australia’s best musical secret and steals from us the pleasure of seeing such an awesome act so regularly.”

With a dynamic new album Hook Me Up (released November 3 through Warner Music) on the way, it’s not long before the world does indeed discover our musical secret and steals them from us. Don’t miss your opportunity to see The Veronicas live this November/December!
