BACK ON THE ROAD WITH

BABY I'M BORED

Few would argue that a plethora of life experiences and raw explicit talent aren't powerful tools for any artist. Combine equal parts of the two and stir, and you are treated to the incomparable Evan Dando.

Currently touring the US, Evan Dando has now confirmed that he will be adding Australia to the tour schedule with a three city tour of Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney.

After a much publicised departure from Lemonheads seven years ago, Evan Dando has returned to what he does best, releasing his debut solo album Baby I'm Bored in Australia in April 2003 and heading out on the road.

British music magazine NME welcomed the return of Dando to the stage, commenting "the strange magic he possesses will never desert him...give him an acoustic guitar and a microphone it seems and these sleepy, humble hymns to a murky past just tumble out of him."

When recording Baby I'm Bored Dando enlisted a number of old friends to work with him. Australia's Ben Lee contributed two of the albums most powerful songs, while close friend Liv Tyler performed a duet with Dando for the song Shots Is Fired.

Evan Dando's live shows are not only a must see for all die hard Lemonheads fans but will also be an experience for any lover of fine music. Added to the already impressive package of Evan Dando are:-

The Give Goods (think new Sydney up and comers) and

Eugene Kelly (think favourite of Kurt Cobain, responsible for scribing Nirvana and Lemonheads tracks, and also former lead singer of The Vaselines) and finally Melbourne newcomers Treetops.

Evan Dando and guests - it will be a night to remember.
