Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring are delighted to welcome back country music powerhouse Lainey Wilson as she brings her WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR down under in February 2026, which also sees the Grammy-award winner make her long-awaited New Zealand debut.

Wilson will also be headlining Howlin’ Country Festival in Newcastle. She’ll first head  to New Zealand, kicking off the tour with shows in Auckland and Christchurch, before making her anticipated return to Australia for shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

Frontier Members can access the presale for the WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR from 12pm local time, Tuesday 12th August, before tickets go on sale from 1pm local time on Friday 15th August. Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/laineywilson

Last in Australia in 2024, Wilson blew fans away in her debut visit, with a headline performance to remember at CMC Rocks QLD, along with two show-stopping, sold-out nights in both Sydney and Melbourne.

“Wilson's voice is like your favourite pair of faded blue jeans—chic, timeless, and effortlessly cool” - CountryTown

Now returning in 2026, Lainey Wilson will celebrate the release of her forthcoming Whirlwind (Deluxe) with live performances for fans in Australia and New Zealand for the very first time. Taking the album around the globe, Wilson kicked off the first leg of the WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR in March, performing sold-out dates across Europe. The singer then takes on a vast, sold out North America leg later this month, before reaching Australia and New Zealand next February, with her biggest headline shows in the market to date.

The deluxe edition of the critically acclaimed Whirlwind is set for release on 22nd August (pre-order via laineywilson.com),  timed to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the original. "Whirlwind (Deluxe)" expands on the powerful 14-track collection with five brand-new songs, including the poetic “Somewhere Over Laredo” and the fan-favourite, high-energy anthem “Bell Bottoms Up.” These new additions further showcase Wilson’s signature blend of rich storytelling, authenticity, and trailblazing country flair.

“To listen to Whirlwind is to hear an artist who has come into herself... delivering songs that are sassy, clever, occasionally emotional and thoroughly country” - Billboard

“Wilson has become the reigning current standard-bearer for women in country” - Variety

‘Whirlwind' is a tour de force from Lainey Wilson, a record that blends her country roots with modern flair and classic sensibilities...” - Entertainment Focus

Cementing herself as one of music’s most exciting talents, Lainey Wilson continues to define a new generation of modern country artists and inspire fans across the world. In 2024, she took home her first GRAMMY® award for Best Country Album, adding to her growing list of accolades, including multiple #1 Billboard singles and a platinum selling catalogue. In 2023, she made history as the first woman in over a decade to win CMA’s Entertainer of the Year. Named Apple Music’s Global Artist of the Year, Wilson is an unstoppable force, rewriting the playbook for female artists in the genre.

Joining Lainey on her biggest headline Australia and New Zealand dates are fellow US country artists Flatland Cavalry and Kaitlin Butts

For the past decade, Flatland Cavalry has built a reputation as “one of the most dynamic presences in country music” (Rolling Stone) thank to their signature “Easy on the ears, heavy on the heart” sound. Celebrating 10 years together in 2024, the band marked a huge year of milestones, earning their first ACM Award nomination for Group of the Year, receiving their first RIAA Gold certification for breakout single “A Life Where We Work Out,” and landing features on the blockbuster soundtracks of Twisters and The Hunger Games. With six #1 singles on Texas Country Radio, more than 500 million streams and having shared the stage with Willie Nelson, Luke Combs and Jordan Davis, Flatland Cavalry delivers a brand of storytelling and musicianship that resonates far beyond their roots.

A truly one-of-a-kind artist, Kaitlin Butts has a deep affinity for country music’s more theatrical side: the extravagant storytelling, dazzling showmanship, songs infused with both unbridled emotion and quick-fire humor. The 2024 Americana Awards New Emerging Act nominee discovered her passion for performing as a little girl, with the Tulsa, Oklahoma native later bringing her boundless energy and radiant voice to her own unapologetic yet soulful songwriting.

Her new album, Roadrunner!, opens up a new chapter for the singer/songwriter and marks a major tonal shift from Butts’ 2022 sophomore LP what else can she do, a character-driven exploration of complex topics like addiction, domestic violence, and generational trauma. Touring with the likes of Dierks Bentley, Lainey Wilson, Turnpike Troubadours and Morgan Wade as well as being named in Opry’s Next Stage Class and CMT’s Next Women of Country for 2025, Kaitlin Butts is firmly cementing herself as one to watch.

With her fresh, fierce, energy and some traditional country roots, don't miss Lainey Wilson’s incredible return to Australia and highly anticipated New Zealand debut, as the global star lands with her WHIRLWIND WORLD TOUR next February, with special guests Flatland Cavalry & Kaitlin Butts.
