‘Kelsea Ballerini is definitely one of the most influential women in country right now... she’s defining the sound of the genre’ - NPR

Seven-time and current Country Music Association Female Vocalist of the Year nominee Kelsea Ballerini once again slices into the state of being young, female and fearlessly pursuing love, life and a far-flung career. Ahead of Ballerini’s five-date Australian tour kicking off next month, she releases the six-song EP, Mount Pleasant which moves through the phases and realities of heartbreak, facing finite, self-compassion and embracing the world on its own terms.

“I’ve absolutely fallen in love with making EP’s in between albums. There’s such a freedom and unbounded nature to the process, from the writing to the production, that I have found to be a creative exercise and also palate cleanser for my own artistry” Ballerini offers. “Mount Pleasant is a collection of six songs that I’ve written throughout the summer, marking a chapter of heavy self examination, longing, and stepping further into who I am as a 32 year old woman.”

Fresh off becoming a 6x Grammy nominee, multi-platinum singer-songwriter, producer and author, Kelsea Ballerini will kick off her Australian tour in just under 3 weeks, with two ICC Sydney Theatre shows on Saturday 6 December (sold out) and Sunday 7 December (last tix) before heading to Melbourne for two Margaret Court Arena shows on Wednesday 10 December (sold out) and Thursday 11 December (last tix). The tour then winds up at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Saturday 13 December (sold out). Final Sydney and Melbourne tix via frontiertouring.com/kelseaballerini.

Joining Kelsea on all dates will be American singer songwriter Carter Faith, with Adelaide’s own breakout talent aleksiah opening the night.

Having achieved milestones most can’t imagine – TIME100 Next, “Saturday Night Live,” New York Times profiles, headlining tours – Ballerini represents a new kind of female country superstar-on-the-rise. Modern, engaged, vulnerable, seeking, sophisticated, she has created a sound that is sleek, song forward and open to anyone who’s looking for a companion as they sort through life’s mysteries. With Mount Pleasant arriving this week, fans and music lovers can crack open the next chapter in a life that offers a mirror for so many other people facing the same things.

Kelsea Ballerini's critically acclaimed, GRAMMY-nominated studio album PATTERNS debuted in the fall of 2024 and earned her the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart and #4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums. The album found Ballerini purposefully surrounding herself with women, along with producer Alysa Vanderheym, and collaborators Jessie Jo Dillon, Karen Fairchild, and Hillary Lindsey. On the album she enlisted "Best New Artist" GRAMMY nominee Noah Kahan to appear on the tender and beautifully crafted RIAA certified-Gold, CMA Awards-nominated “Musical Event of the Year” and GRAMMY-nominated "Best Country Duo/Group Performance" - single “Cowboys Cry Too.”

She recently wrapped up her 35-date KELSEA BALLERINI LIVE ON TOUR, performing in arenas across the USA, just released a revelatory new EP Mount Pleasant, earned a 2025 CMA Award nomination for “Female Vocalist of the Year.”, and a 2026 nomination for the GRAMMY Awards’ “Best Contemporary Album” category for PATTERNS, Kelsea Ballerini is having a moment.
