KALEO announce live return to Australia + New Zealand with the Way Down Under We Go Tour

Frontier Touring is excited to announce the return of high-octane, GRAMMY®-nominated Icelandic rockers KALEO, bringing their celebrated Way Down Under We Go Tour to Australia and New Zealand in February.

Kicking their latest world tour off with a 28-date run across North America this month, for a band whose music has travelled far beyond the borders of their homeland, KALEO’s rise has been remarkable. Since forming in Mosfellsbær (a suburb of Reykjavik) back in 2012, vocalist and guitarist JJ Julius Son, drummer David Antonsson, bassist Daniel Kristjansson and guitarist Rubin Pollock have built a catalogue that sits comfortably between blues-rock muscle, folk introspection and arena-sized hooks. What began as a local Icelandic phenomenon became a worldwide one with the release of 2016’s A/B, the breakthrough album that delivered enduring singles including ‘Way Down We Go’, ‘All The Pretty Girls’ and ‘No Good’.

The numbers tell part of the story. KALEO have since amassed more than six billion global streams and over 70 international Gold, Platinum and Diamond certifications. No strangers to the world’s biggest stages, their live résumé includes appearances at festivals such as Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, along with sold-out headline tours across North America, Europe and beyond.

With four studio albums to their name including 2025’s Mixed Emotions, KALEO are also one of the most synced bands of all time. Few songs have left a mark quite like ‘Way Down We Go’, which has amassed close to four billion streams worldwide and become a cultural phenomenon, appearing in millions of TikTok videos and countless film, television and advertising campaigns. KALEO have also featured prominently in major series including Yellowstone, The Morning Show, Grey’s Anatomy, Law & Order and Suits, alongside EA Sports franchises such as FIFA, Madden NFL and NHL.

The band's latest chapter arrives in the wake of the A/B 10th Anniversary Deluxe Edition, released in June 2026. Expanding on the record that launched them onto the world stage, the Way Down Under We Go Tour serves as both a celebration of that legacy and a reminder of KALEO’s enduring momentum.

Fans can get early access to tickets via the Frontier Members presale, which starts Wednesday 26 August (1pm local time). Tickets will then go on sale Friday 28 August (2pm local time). Visit frontiertouring.com/kaleo for full tour and ticketing information.

Renowned for a sound that’s both timeless and contemporary, live on stage KALEO are driven by raw energy and emotional intensity, cementing their reputation as one of rock’s most compelling acts. Don’t miss them!
