Blondshell (USA) | Alt-pop singer, songwriter, musician returning to Australia in February 2026
11 Sep 2025Frontier Touring is thrilled to welcome Los Angeles based Blondshell (Sabrina Teitelbaum) back to Australia for east coast shows in February 2026.
‘I’ve been wanting to go back to Australia since we were there at the beginning of 2024! It’s so far away, so we don’t get to go enough and it makes it so special when we do get the chance. I’m really excited.’ - Blondshell
Last in Australia in 2024 as part of Laneway Festival, Blondshell returns with headline shows at the Factory Theatre, Sydney on Wednesday 4 February, Crowbar, Brisbane on Thursday 5 February and Max Watt’s, Melbourne on Saturday 7 February.
Frontier Member presale commences Friday 12 September, 12pm AEST before the general on sale Monday 15 September, 1pm AEST. Tickets and tour information via frontiertouring.com/blondshell
Blondshell released her self-titled debut album in 2023 - an introspective, sharply specific record laced with nonchalant humour that quickly established her as one of the most acclaimed emerging artists in recent years – and features the singles ‘Veronica Mars’, ‘Salad’, ‘Joiner’, ‘Sepsis’ with the Blondshell Deluxe Edition anchored by added tracks like the open-hearted grunge ballad ‘Street Rat’ and a lilting, Bossa-Nova-esque reworking of ‘Tarmac’.
Blondshell’s sophomore album, If You Asked For A Picture (out now via Mushroom Music, here) was released to worldwide acclaim, recently earning spots on both Rolling Stone and Consequence’s lists of the best albums of 2025 so far. The record builds on the promise of her 2023 debut, which established her as one of the most lauded new voices in indie rock. Reuniting with producer Yves Rothman, Blondshell crafts a collection brimming with urgency, ambition, and emotional precision. The album channels the same specificity, self-examination, and nonchalant humour that made her debut so magnetic—only now with even greater force.
Leading to the release of If You Asked For A Picture, Blondshell shared four of the album’s singles - the cinematic ‘Event of a Fire’, the metaphorical beating heart of the album ‘23’s A Baby’, the stripped-back introspection of ‘Two Times’ and the album’s crushingly catchy ‘T&A’ which Blondshell played on Jimmy Kimmel Live! - watch the performance HERE.
In the time since Blondshell, the image of Teitelbaum’s life has changed considerably. As the accolades accrued she spent more time on the road than at home. This rootlessness naturally impacted Teitelbaum’s relationships with others and with herself.
Most recently, Blondshell released her moody and swoon-worthy reinterpretation of Addison Rae’s ‘Diet Pepsi (Live at Sirius XMU)’ and performed for tens of thousands alongside Fontaines D.C. and Queens of the Stone Age in the UK and Europe. Blondshell is currently on the road with her ‘If You Asked For A Tour’, playing shows throughout 2025 across the US, UK and Europe before hitting Australia in February 2026!
‘an Alt-Rock Supernova’ - New York Times
‘Blondshell’s sharp, secret-sharing (on) ‘If You Asked for a Picture.’ - Rolling Stone (The Best Albums of 2025 So Far)
‘Increasingly confident, self-assured musical language... swirling, shape-shifting textures... enveloping and inviting’ - Pitchfork
‘If You Asked For A Picture is more dynamic and it also feels a lot quieter, her settling more into singer songwriter mode, but it's far more mature.’ - NPR
‘On her second album, the artist born Sabrina Teitelbaum manages the often-breathtaking feat of juxtaposing matter-of-fact, autobiographical lyrics... with sizzling ’90s rock guitar hooks and some of the most beautiful harmonies since ’70s Fleetwood Mac. If You Asked For A Picture eschews romance for realism that should resonate with her generation — and really anyone with scars to show (who also enjoys a well-crafted pop-rock song).’ - Billboard
Joining Blondshell on all shows is Sydney-based artist, singer, songwriter and Queer heartthrob total tommy (she/her). Blending indie rock with lo-fi bedroom sensibilities, total tommy’s music channels the likes of The Breeders, Soccer Mommy and Yo La Tengo with the dynamic songwriting of recent track ‘Losing Out’ bursting-at-the-seams sense of emotionally charged and hushed loudness. Swinging in with a boldness that is as instantaneous as it is infectious, total tommy arrives as an essential new voice in Australian indie - one that is quietly confident, subtly but firmly in control and altogether impressive.
Alt-pop star Blondshell brings her perfectly crafted songs and captivating live show back to Australia this summer.
