POND
PER ONLY
Originally formed in the turn of the 2010’s, as “a Royal Trux-cum-Cream power trio,” fronted by Allbrook with Jay Watson and Joe Ryan, POND added Jamie Terry shortly afterwards, with James Ireland later rounding out the irrepressible five-piece. Ever prolific, POND boasts an impressive eight studio albums in their ever expanding repertoire.

Bad//Dreems
ADE ONLY
Bad//Dreems formed in 2012 in a whitegoods warehouse in the shadow of the West End brewery (RIP) in Adelaide. They have released three albums and toured extensively across Australia, the UK and the US, playing with the likes of Midnight Oil, the Avalanches, the Scientists, Cold Chisel and Sunnyboys. The band's fourth LP is due early 2023 and they are excited to road test some of the new material.

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever
BRI ONLY

Critically praised across the globe and with countless sold-out tours across Australia, UK, Europe, and Nth America across their career, this is a rare chance for QLD fans to catch one of AU’s finest acts alongside the indie icons, when RBCF hit the stage at Fortitude Music Hall.

Floodlights
THI/SYD ONLY
First gaining global attention in 2019 with their debut sold-out EP Backyard, followed by 2020 debut album From A View, Melbourne four-piece Floodlights explore themes of personal turbulence, national identity and the Australian landscape as a form of escapism. Recent single ‘Human’ is out now and their third album is due in 2023. the band joined Vegas rockers The Killers in the Barossa Valley this month. Catch them on stage in Thirroul and Sydney.

Romero
MEL ONLY
Romero’s debut full length, Turn It On!, is a burst of hard hitting, punk laced power-pop, well informed by classic rockers but armed with a dose of excitement for what’s to come. Inspired by everyone from The Strokes to Royal Headache, with 2022 bringing profiles on Pitchfork (“songs that are as sticky as a barroom floor”) and a just-completed EU/UK tour, Romero return to their hometown to play in support of Pavement in early March
