WHAT’S NEXT?

Performing at: Fringe World, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Busselton Fringe & Sydney Comedy Festival

An awkward experience at a massage parlour in Thailand, a housemate with all the traits of a serial killer and obtaining a stalker... Ciaran Lyons (triple j,The Project) has had a big 2018! Come hear all about it in his latest show.

Charmingly conversational Ciaran engages his audiences with personal stories. His hilarious takes on an admittedly fairly sheltered upbringing are a unique and refreshing shift from this often cynical world we live in.

The ebullient Perth native performed his first ever stand-up spot at just fourteen years of age. The lad once dubbed ‘Perth's Teen Comedic Sensation’ by Scoop Magazine is now without question one of Australia’s fastest-rising stand-up comedy stars and media personalities. With a ‘Next Gen Comedian’ award from the Perth Comedy Festival and ‘Artists’ Choice’ from the Wild West Comedy Fest, Ciaran has also been nominated for Best Comedy at FRINGE WORLD and hand-picked by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival for their prestigious Comedy Zone showcase of the country’s hottest new comics. He was listed alongside Tame Impala, Troye Sivan and Danny Green by The Sunday Times as one of WA’s ‘Hottest 100 People of 2016.’

‘Laconic Lyons is a master at creating massive laughs with his disarming, conversational delivery’ - The Fourth Wall

‘I was already itching to see another show minutes after leaving... his personal stories of being the youngest sibling, travelling to Las Vegas and perverted high school examiners were a hoot’ - The West Australian

Ciaran’s stand-up performances have been seen on ABC TV’s Comedy Bites Gala and triple j’s Good Az Friday live show. Thanks to his quick wit and authentic banter Ciaran is also an in-demand podcast guest, with appearances on Justin Hamilton’s The Shelf, Wil Anderson and Friends and at Splendour in the Grass. He’s hosted the hugely popular The Dollop live show, but is best known to audiences for his role as roving reporter for The Project and regularly presenting on triple j, where he has been heard solo hosting every show from the early morning shift to the Breakfast Show and Drive.

Not a bad list of credits at just 21 years old! What’s next for Ciaran? Come find out!
