"This is not the kind of stuff you can listen to indifferently whilst nodding your head and reading the paper. The Killers play indie music you can dance to... in fact, damn it, The Killers play indie music you HAVE to dance to." BBC

Spin dubbed them the 'next big thing'. Rolling Stone slapped them with the coveted 'hot band' title , while NME predicted them as a 'band to watch'. So with no small amount of hype The Frontier Touring Company would like to announce the tour for the biggest buzz of the moment, The Killers.

The Killers is comprised of Brandon Flowers (Vocals, Keyboards), David Keuning (Guitars), Mark Stoermer (Bass), Ronnie Vannucci (Drums); four sharp-dressed hipsters hailing from Las Vegas who are seducing both fans and music critics alike with their unusual blend of rock .Their "inspired mix of glitter and gutter" as Nylon Magazine puts it.

The Killers' incredibly catchy single Somebody Told Me recently conquered Australian airways and debuted into the ARIA Top 20. Their album Hot Fuss reached the Top 30, and is tipped to climb the charts again on the strength of the band's next single Mr Brightside (through Universal - in stores November 21). Already, Mr Brightside is impacting the radio airwaves with stations switching to the new track without hesitation; expect to hear this single more and more in upcoming weeks.

Rolling Stone wrote;"Hot Fuss, is a blast of heavy glam guitar, Eighties-style synth beats and gorgeously tormented tales of doomed love and obsession that sound like Morrissey hitting the casinos with Duran Duran." But it is the band's live concerts that are creating the biggest 'fuss'of all. The Las Vegas Mercury announced; "The Killers are turning boring, old rock shows into dance-floor riots." While Drowned in Sound declared them "one of the most exciting bands to cross the pond in ages" and wrote that lead singer Brandon Flowers' "onstage demeanour ranks him up there alongside some of the most revered frontmen like Bryan Ferry, Iggy Pop, and even Jarvis Cocker."

Appearing as special guest on The Killers tour will be betchadupa. With a new album Aiming For Your Head (Liberation) now in stores, the Kiwi boys have been touring up a storm in recent months, showing Australia just why they're being recommended as a must see gig in their own right.

Earlier this year The Killers performed before 50,000 at the V Festival in Chelmsford, UK and were reportedly astonished by the reaction of their fans. And now it's our turn – The Killers are set to invade our shores, and we can't wait to see what all the fuss is about.
