The Frontier Touring Company is thrilled to confirm the maiden voyage of Irish rockers The Script to Australia this September/October. Visiting Australia in support of their UK #1 self-titled album (released September 6 through SonyBMG), fans in Melbourne and Sydney will be treated to one-off performances by the band on everyone’s lips.

The Script has taken the United Kingdom by storm, debuting at #1 on both England and Ireland’s album charts to a flurry of critical acclaim. The achievements have continued to mount for The Script. From being chosen to soundtrack the BBC’s coverage of the Olympics to performing a duet with Kelly Rowland, The Script is on a fast track to world domination. And their next stop? Australia.

Single We Cry has been an instant hit with Australian radio listeners, shooting to #4 on radio’s most added chart. The Australian press is also backing the band:

The Daily Telegraph: “Irish rock trio The Script is expected to explode from the studio to the charts in the same way One Republic put songwriter and producer Ryan Teddy on the map.”

Marie Claire: “It’s easy to fall in love with The Script after hearing just one song – they’re that good…a sensational debut.”

The Sydney Mag “We Cry is the kind of song you fall in love with thanks to its sweet melody, killer chorus and O’Donoghue’s ageless voice.”

Missing Hours will support The Script at all shows. Hailing from regional Victoria, this duo will kick each show off to a ferocious start. Their left of centre approach to creating music has seen them travel the world time and again to fine tune their songwriting. These shows will be your first chance to hear Missing Hours showcase new music ahead of their forthcoming album release through SonyBMG.

Don’t miss your opportunity to experience intimate performances by these Irish sensations. Tickets will go on sale Friday 5 September.
