No other American artist has performed before more Australians.

No other artist has sold out twelve consecutive Madison Square Gardens.

And no other artist can lay claim to 33 Top 40 hits, 23 Grammy nominations and more than 100 million record sales.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is quite simply no other artist like Billy Joel.

It is with great delight that The Frontier Touring Company announce the return of the incomparable Billy Joel to Australia this November for a live concert tour encompassing Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

It will be Billy Joel's first tour here in eight years since he toured with Elton John on the 1998 Face To Face stadium tour. Significantly this year's visit will be Billy Joel's first solo tour of Australia in twelve years; his last being the hugely successful 1994 River Of Dreams Tour.

Today Billy Joel is one of the world's most popular and celebrated musicians. His numerous accolades include his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, six Grammy Awards including a Grammy Legend Award and prestigious acknowledgements of his on-going charity work.

Fans can warm up for Billy's upcoming tour with the newly released album '12 Gardens Live' (SONY BMG). Showcasing his 12 sell-out shows recorded live at Madison Square Garden earlier this year, the double-CD is filled with greatest hits, Billy's personal favourites, a stack of musical surprises and more. It'll be a must-have for all fans of the pop superstar in the lead up to his Australian shows!

Impressively Pollstar's annual 'Top 100 Tours' report (released July 14, 2006) confirmed that for the past twelve months Billy Joel has sold more tickets to his shows in America than any other artist in the world, beating out the likes of Madonna and U2.

With over a million tickets sold in Australia throughout his career, Billy Joel has entertained more people here than any other American artist. With only limited shows, demand for tickets is expected to be high.
