Matt Corby second & final Melbourne show added for The Tragic Magic Tour - June 2026 + special guest Gretta Ray
22 Apr 2026Praised as one of the country’s most compelling live performers, and with overwhelming demand seeing his Newcastle show immediately sell out, award-winning singer, songwriter and producer Matt Corby is pleased to announce a second and final Melbourne show has been added to his upcoming The Tragic Magic Tour, which heads across the country this June. Joining Corby across the country at his headline shows is special guest Gretta Ray.
Consider this a low-ticket warning for the singer’s previously announced Melbourne date at The Forum on Tuesday 9 June. Now, the ‘Resolution’ star will make it two nights back-to-back, adding a new show on Wednesday 10 June. Tickets for the new date go on sale this Friday 24 April – head to frontiertouring.com/mattcorby for all the info.
Corby returns to the stage in celebration of his brand new fourth studio album, Tragic Magic, released last week. A deeply personal and sonically rich body of work, Tragic Magic sees Corby continue to refine his timeless sound, balancing joy and hardship through soulful instrumentation, rich textures and his unmistakable falsetto. Exploring themes of fatherhood, loss, friendship and growth, the record captures Corby at his most introspective and creatively expansive, with Corby co-producing every track and performing the majority of instruments across the album.
With multiple ARIA Awards, platinum-selling releases and a reputation for mesmerising live performances, Corby has long cemented himself as one of Australia’s most enduring and respected artists. His forthcoming national run – spanning Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane – will deliver the kind of immersive and emotionally resonant shows audiences have come to expect. Don’t miss out!
