MG Live and Frontier Touring proudly announce Leftfield – one of electronic music’s all-time greatest acts – with very special headline shows for 2026 as they continue their celebration of their 35th anniversary (36 at the time of writing). 

Speaking on the shows, Neil Barnes shared, “It will be 36 years since I released the first Leftfield track, ‘Not Forgotten’, and 31 years now of Leftism. It feels like the perfect time to celebrate and I’m so pleased that finally we get to come back to New Zealand and Australia. Let’s make it unforgettable. Can’t wait to see you there!”

The iconic British pioneers of progressive house and experimental electronic music will launch their March 2026 tour in New Zealand, starting at Auckland’s Powerstation on Sunday 1 March, and continuing at Meow Nui in Wellington on Monday 2 March. They then head to Australia for a run of east coast dates, beginning at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Thursday 5 March, followed by Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Saturday 7 March, and concluding at Live at the Gardens in Melbourne’s Royal Botanic Gardens on Sunday 8 March.

Joining Leftfield on the Brisbane and Sydney headline shows is Australia’s Godfather of Techno, Late Nite Tuff Guy adding to what will be an electrifying celebration of hypnotic sound, rhythm and dancefloor energy. A superhero of soul, a destroyer of dance floors and a purveyor of the smoothest sounds this side of 1977, Late Nite Tuff Guy is synonymous with the sexiest of sets and the most credible of disco edits and has amassed legions of devoted fans from every corner of the globe.  

Acclaimed leading figure in Australian electronic music - composer, songwriter, musician and producer - Paul Mac (DJ set) and Late Nite Tuff Guy join the Leftfield line-up for the Live at the Gardens show on Sunday 8 March.
