RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA FOR TWO VERY SPECIAL SHOWS THIS NOVEMBER

It is with great pleasure that Frontier Touring announce Sol3 Mio’s return to Australia for two very special shows in Sydney and Melbourne this November.

Made up of two tenor brothers, Pene and Amitai Pati, and their baritone cousin Moses Mackay, Sol3 Mio is the combination of three powerful and emotive operatic voices who by their own definition are first and foremost ‘classical singers bridging the gap with contemporary’. United by a love of opera and deep family bonds they have carved out a unique niche for themselves, aided along the way by their good humour, good looks and a refreshing slant on contemporary tunes and the classics.

‘The quality hit me like a sledgehammer! Exceptional talent! And the personality! It’s all a whole, the sound and the person go together. That’s unmistakable when we hear that!’ - Dennis O’Neill CBE (Distinguished Welsh operatic tenor and renowned classical recording artist)

A phenomenal sound’ - Dame Malvina Major ONZ GNZM DBE (World renowned opera singer and Professor of Voice at University of Waikato)

As one of New Zealand’s most successful and popular musical acts ever, Sol3 Mio’s debut album spent sixteen consecutive weeks in the number one chart position and has become one of the biggest selling albums in New Zealand music history.

Since the release of their self-titled debut in New Zealand, the trio have been on an incredible journey exposing their music and talents to the world, with performances in UK, Europe, USA, Japan and of course New Zealand and Australia. The album has been successfully released across 26 countries during that time.

The debut album is filled with opera classics like ‘O Sole Mio’ alongside unique workings of modern favourites including ‘The Rose’ and ‘Songbird’. Click here to listen to the album sampler.

A brand new collection of songs, taking their distinctive brand of superlative singing and easy humour further than ever before, will be available when the highly acclaimed trio release their eagerly awaited second album On Another Note.

Sol3 Mio’s live performances are unique, energetic and with a humour that perfectly complements their incredible voices; don’t miss the opportunity to witness what are sure to be a series of truly memorable evenings.
