TOUR DATES & TICKETING arrow
The Strokes are heading to Australia for a whirlwind promotional tour for their new album First Impressions Of Earth and have announced they will perform ONE special gig at the Gaelic Theatre in Sydney on Wednesday 23 November 2005.
In an attempt to ensure genuine fans gain admittance to the show and tickets don’t end up on-sold at inflated prices, 600 tickets will go on sale to fans on Tuesday 22 November at 9:00am and can only be purchased IN PERSON, over the counter at Red Eye Records (66 King St, Sydney) and Fish Records (261 King St, Newtown). 300 tickets will be available at Red Eye Records and 300 at Fish Records.
Each transaction will be limited to 1 ticket per person and each person wishing to attend the show must physically be at the ticketing outlet at the time of purchase to be issued a wristband and ticket. The wristband will be attached to the purchaser at the time of the transaction.
To gain admittance to the show, patrons must present both the ticket and the wristband. It is at the discretion of the venue and promoter to refuse entry to any patron bearing a wristband that appears to be tampered with.
The Strokes 9:30pm
This is an 18+ event and ID will be required.
