The Frontier Touring Company is pleased to announce the return of Hard-Fi to Australia, performing intimate one-off shows in Sydney and Melbourne this October. These shows will follow of their second album Once Upon A Time In The West (out September 8 through Warner Music).
Out Upon A Time In The West is the highly anticipated follow-up to the UK #1 album Stars of CCTV and features the super-catchy hit “Suburban Knights”, which is already creating waves on air.
Live, Hard-Fi are well worth making the effort for. Their first major tour sold out in a record 15 minutes and saw them play London’s Brixton Academy 5 nights running, placing them in the same league as The Clash, Bob Dylan and The Prodigy.
And their last Australian tour attracted widespread praise:
“The four lads played Metropolis as if it was Glastonbury, Reading or some other big English festival and, for an hour or so, the small Freo venue was turned into a stadium.”
-The West Australian
“These four boys from Staines have had a lot of commercial success and critical acclaim in the UK, which usually makes me a little wary… but for once the British media may have been on the money.”
-The Drum Media, Sydney
“Hard-Fi nailed their songs live giving us the party atmosphere that’s present on their recordings. Definitely worth the trip out on a Wednesday night, even if I did miss Thank God You’re Here.”
-Inpress Magazine
