The Frontier Touring Company are delighted to serve up yet another loaded night of entertainment with Get Up Kids and Saves The Day confirmed to play our shores in April and May.
Billboard Magazine wrote of the Get Up Kids "this is the glorious sound of a band that's still growing and successfully finding ways to experiment without losing its energy." With seven years experience behind them Get Up Kids remains one of the underground punk's most influential bands. Their latest album Guilt Show (through FMR) has just been released in Australia and is a prelude to what Australian fans can expect of their upcoming shows down under.
Saves The Day's live shows are something to see with PunxorDotCom declaring the performance "absolutely amazing... I have to say if it's coming by your town, buy a goddamn ticket and go, it was truly one of the best shows I have ever attended." Their current album In Reverie (through FMR) saw the band introduce a melodic pop indie element to their existing punk base. It's a formula that has translated brilliantly into their live show with audience's pogo-ing with enthralled abandonment from start to finish.
With shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth fans across the country will be able to snap up tickets when they go on sale on Monday 29 March.
