PLAYING ONE-OFF INTIMATE VENUE IN HOBART
Attention Tasmanian Queens Of The Stone Age fans! Prepare yourself because Frontier Touring are thrilled to confirm that the critically acclaimed powerhouse rockers are set to make an appearance on Tassie shores for a very special one off show while they are down under for their tour of Australia and New Zealand with Nine Inch Nails.
With the two additional and final shows with Nine Inch Nails already announced for Melbourne and Sydney, this will be a one off show at the intimate Odeon Theatre in Hobart with the one and only Queens of the Stone Age.
Queens Of The Stone Age are no stranger to Australian shores, with frontman Josh Homme calling it his “home away from home”, with the love reciprocated as three tracks made it into the 2013 Hottest 100 – ‘If I Had A Tail’ (#46), I Sat By The Ocean (#76) and ‘My God Is The Sun’ (#97).
This will give lucky Tasmanians the chance to see the arena-conquering band in an intimate and very special setting, a rare opportunity for any Queens Of The Stone Age fan! Homme who let slip last year that he “would never miss Tassie for anything” was not lying, making it six massive years for the unstoppable band since they played the Hobart City Hall in 2008 while they were down for the V Festival.
Tassie fans will have to be quick though as this will be very limited capacity and tickets are expected fly out the door!
