HEADLINE SHOWS AND NEW SINGLE ANNOUNCED
Kaiser Chiefs are back! It has been confirmed that English indie rock stars KAISER CHIEFS will be playing three exclusive sideshows whilst in Australia for Splendour in the Grass. Kaiser Chiefs will be performing in Canberra, Melbourne and Sydney in early August 2011.
Off the back of this news comes the wildly exciting announcement that Kaiser Chiefs will also be releasing a new single to radio today, Tuesday the 31st of May. The new single, ‘Little Shocks’ sees the Chiefs return in style and comes just in time for their much lauded live shows. Expect to hear this track everywhere!
The success of 2008 album Off With Their Heads (Liberator) with its stand out single ‘Never Miss A Beat’ is proof to the enduring popularity and talent of the Kaiser Chiefs. Produced by Mark Ronson and Eliot James the album reached # 12 in the ARIA Charts and received amazing responses from radio, television and the press which culminated in an unforgettable headline show at 2009’s V Festival.

Joining the band as special guests will be Australian alternative rock sensations Papa Vs Pretty who have been causing a stir with their energetic live shows to adoring audiences around the country. Papa Vs Pretty have proved themselves to be one of the most exciting local bands around and this week sees the release of their debut album United In Isolation. Opening on the night will be Unearthed J Award nominees, all girl rock band Stonefield.
