The Frontier Touring Company is pleased to confirm the return of Scotland’s Paolo Nutini to Australia this October. This will be Paolo’s first trip Down Under since 2007’s maiden voyage that saw him thrill those before him. Paolo will return to perform his largest headline shows to date in Melbourne and Sydney. Support at all shows will come from Whitley.

Paolo Nutini first introduced himself to the world at the tender age of 19, via the release of 2006’s These Streets. A scorching debut album, These Streets saw Paolo quickly establish himself as one of this decade’s most captivating talents. Climbing the charts around the world, These Streets debuted in the ARIA top 20, sold in excess of two million albums worldwide, and spawned the inspiring singles ‘Jenny Don’t Be Hasty’, ‘New Shoes’ and ‘Last Request’.

Paolo returns to Australia in support of Sunny Side Up (out now through Warner Music), the sophomore album from this exciting soulsmith. The album debuted at #1 on the UK chart and has remained in the Top 5 since it’s release. Sunny Side Up sees Paolo Nutini come of age as he emerges a truly unique artist, continuing along the path of musical discovery These Streets first hinted at.

It’s not just the fans who’ve been enraptured by Paolo’s latest offering, the critics have been similarly thrilled:

“This one leaves its generational competition in the dust and is wise beyond this songwriter's years…” – All Music Guide

“…it's that diversity heard throughout Nutini's sophomore effort that gives this AC singer/songwriter a leg up.” – Billboard

“…this stakes claim on a wide territory in a bold manner.” - Uncut

Support at all dates will be Melbourne’s favourite son, Whitley. Following solid touring in support of his acclaimed debut record The Submarine, Whitley retreated from the spotlight and began preparing songs for his highly anticipated second album Go Forth, Find Mammoth (due in stores later this year). Whitley will break free from his hibernation this October as he warms the stage for Paolo Nutini.

With a tendency to sell out shows night after night across the globe, there’s little doubt Paolo will do the same in Australia. Ensure you secure your tickets to see this exceptional singer/songwriter immediately to avoid disappointment.
